Undergrowth Australian Arts UK – a two-year program of Australian contemporary arts in the UK
JBM+M was engaged by the Australia Council for the Arts and the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade to establish an awareness building program, including event management, to promote Australian artists touring in the UK. Event management responsibilities included the launch of the program, attended by 500 dignitaries, at the Australian High Commission in London in liaison with the cultural attaché. Over 150 arts companies were involved in the program over the two years. JBM+M led extensive negotiation and communication with performers, producers and local venues in the UK. Supervision of a locally based London public relations expert, in addition to open and clear communication channels between all parties, ensured the success of the program and increased touring opportunities for Australia artists into the UK.
In2Oz – Creative Australia engaged by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and the Australia International Cultural Council. JBM+M was hired as the Marketing Consultant for IN2OZ, Australia’s cultural diplomacy program in Indonesia in 2008. This involved the creation and implementation of an awareness building event program to promote Australian artists touring to Indonesia.

Australian Representation at The Venice Biennale 2007 and 2009
JBM+M was hired as the marketing and event consultant by the Australia Council for the Arts for two Venice Biennale’s. Work included design and implementation of the marketing campaign including stand alone website design and build, creation of publications, awareness building program and event management.
Literary Magazine collaboration
The Literature Board of the Australia Council hired JBM+M to assist key literary magazines and journals to promote their activities in a collaborative method to increase the visibility and circulation of each magazine with the aim of raising the profile of this aspect of Australian publishing culture.

Creation and implementation of an awareness building campaign and marketing strategy to promote the annual opening of four of Sydney’s iconic Harbour islands revealing Sydney’s diverse natural and cultural heritage. Part of Crave Sydney – a major celebration of Sydney’s unmatched way of life, offering 31 days of food, outdoor art and fun, Sydney Harbour Island Hopping is a co presentation with Events NSW and NPWS and attracted over 6000 people to numerous events around the harbour. Re contracted to manage the 2010 Sydney Harbour Island Hopping events by Events NSW.

Emerging From Darkness (EFD) will be one of the most important exhibitions ever to be held in regional Australia.
Communications Consultant for 2021. ART MONTH SAPPHIRE COAST brings together and shines a light on the region’s diverse exceptional artistic talent for a month of studio trails, live entertainment, events and exhibitions across the Bega Valley Shire/Sapphire Coast in August 2021. Campaign included destination reach into the ACT/Victoria and NSW outlets.
