Sarah Grunstein returns from NYC for two special concerts

Praised by The New York Times for her ”penetrating musical intelligence”, internationally acclaimed Australian pianist Sarah Grunstein has performed in the United States, Austria, Hungary, Italy, the United Kingdom, New Zealand, and her homeland. Reviews have likened her performances to those of Dame Myra Hess, Harold Samuel, and Wanda Landowska.

Her recent performance of the Goldberg Variations led to her being acclaimed as the “shining light” among the Bach pianists of the generation following Glenn Gould.

In September and October she returns to Australia to perform two recitals including Beethoven’s Moonlight and Tempest Sonatas, and Schumann’s Fantasie.  The 2nd recital features Bach’s Goldberg Variations in the exquisite Utzon Room.
