2024 Wrap

Wow what a year. And it’s not been an easy one, especially in the arts industry. With inflation and the cost of living, unfortunately our industry was the first to suffer as people pulled in their spending. With shrinking budgets from artists and producers, given the high costs of touring and venue fees, my budgets have been shrunk as well. This has meant on many occasions I’ve had to handle the complete marketing campaigning, from publicity to marketing strategies and social media campaign design and implementation. It’s been a lot but we survived and thrived.

I made 2024 a year for me to try new things, and I was thrilled to have won a tender with Landcom to producer and deliver community engagement events. I’ve just been made a preferred supplier so I have another three years producing for them and it’s been a fantastic opportunity for me to spread my wings. I have always have had corporate clients but the arts has been my major portfolio. Alas this year it has changed.

I will always support the arts as that is my true passion and running your own business – it’s imperative to work with passion.

Thank you to all the wonderful artists, performers, directors, clients, venues, managers, box office staff, publicists, stage hands, graphic designers, printers, journalists, media outlets and…..especially the ticket buyers. Thank you all.

2025 will mark 25 years running my consultancy!

Let’s hope it’s a wonderful year for us all.
