I was extremely saddened to hear of the passing of David Page.  David and I worked on a number of productions together and he was an extraordinarily talented actor, director, singer, dancer, musician and composer.

David was integral to my journey into working with the Indigenous community.  We met while I was working on the Message Sticks Festival at the Sydney Opera House in early 2000. This was the first time I had worked closely with the Indigenous community and he generously gave me insight and  understanding  into working with the community.

Over the years we would work on many other productions together and would meet often at opening nights and at  Bangarra, The Deadlys, The Message Sticks Festival and the Message Sticks Film Festival. He was a great supporter of my business and he was a dear dear friend.  I shall miss him.

My heart goes out to the Indigenous community, Bangarra and the Page family at this difficult time. Rest in Peace.
