Four Australian dance companies touring nationally in 2013 have joined forces to market, attract and build new audiences for dance. The Dance on Tour producers, ADT, Expressions Dance Company, Kage and Shaun Parker & Company will tour all Australian states, and 55 venues between March and September. The four companies have been supported to tour in 2013 by Playing Australia, the Australian Government’s national performing arts touring program.

Jacqui Bonner Marketing was engaged as marketing consultant for the Dance on Tour 2013 initiative. This is a joint initiative of Expressions Dance Company, Australian Dance Theatre, KAGE and Shaun Parker & Company to maximise awareness, access and engagement with outstanding dance theatre in regional and remote areas of Australia in 2013. Focus on audience development and social media campaigns. Services renewed for 2014 with a larger consortium of dance companies to further develop audiences in metro and regional Australia.
